Prof. Huda Zoghbi delivered a lecture entitled "From Genes to Neural Networks and Disorders of the Nervous System" at the ballroom of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Beirut on January 19, 2017. The lecture was attended by more than 350 people including scientists and students from the major Lebanese universities.
The Lecture was sponsored by the Ahmar Family Foundation, USA as part of a continuing series of annual lectures in Lebanon by leading scientists.
The Lecture was followed by a gala dinner at the Phoenicia Hotel sponsored by the Indevco Group chaired by Tony Frem who is a member of the board of the Friends of the Lebanese Academy of Sciences (FLAS).
